路加福音-Luke 第 23 章

23:1他們全體都起來，把耶穌帶到彼拉多面前。
And the entire multitude of them rose up and led Him before Pilate.
23:2就控告祂說，我們查出這人煽惑我們的人民，禁止納稅給該撒，且說自己是基督，是王。
And they began to accuse Him, saying, We found this man perverting our nation and forbidding people to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.
23:3彼拉多問耶穌說，你是猶太人的王麼？耶穌回答說，你說的是。
And Pilate asked Him, saying, Are You the King of the Jews? And answering him, He said, It is as you say.
23:4彼拉多對祭司長和群眾說，我查不出這人有什麼該定罪的。
And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, I find no fault in this man.
23:5但他們越發極力的說，祂煽動百姓，在猶太遍地施教，從加利利起，直到這裡。
But they were vehement, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee even to this place.
23:6彼拉多一聽見，就問這人是加利利人不是。
And when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.
23:7既曉得耶穌屬希律所管，就把祂送到希律那裡去，那些日子希律也正在耶路撒冷。
And when he realized that He was of Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him up to Herod, who also himself was in Jerusalem in those days.
23:8希律看見耶穌，就甚歡喜，因為聽見過祂的事，久已想要見祂，並且指望看祂行個神跡。
And when Herod saw Jesus, he rejoiced greatly, for he had wanted to see Him for a considerable time, because he had heard about Him, and was hoping to see some sign done by Him.
23:9於是問祂許多的話，耶穌卻一言不答。
And he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing.
23:10祭司長和經學家都站著，極力的控告祂。
And the chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing Him.
23:11希律同他的兵丁就藐視耶穌，戲弄祂，給祂穿上華麗的衣服，把祂送回彼拉多那裡。
And Herod with his soldiers, having despised Him and mocked Him, threw around Him splendid clothing and sent Him back to Pilate.
23:12從前希律和彼拉多互相為敵，就在那一天，他們彼此成了朋友。
And both Herod and Pilate became friends with one another on that very day, for they had previously been at enmity toward each other.
23:13彼拉多傳齊了祭司長、官長並百姓，
And Pilate, calling together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
23:14就對他們說，你們把這人帶到我這裡，說祂是煽惑百姓的，看哪，我也曾將你們告祂的事，在你們面前審問過，並沒有查出祂有什麼該定罪的；
Said to them, You have brought this man to me as one who turns the people away, and behold, I have examined Him before you and found no fault in this man regarding the accusations you bring against Him.
23:15就是希律也是如此，因為他把耶穌送回我們這裡來，可見祂沒有作過什麼該死的事。
No, neither has Herod, for he sent Him back to us, and behold, nothing worthy of death has been done by Him.
23:16所以我要責打祂，把祂釋放了。
I will therefore discipline Him and release Him.
23:17每逢節期，總督必須釋放一個囚犯給他們。
Now he was obliged to release to them one prisoner at the feast.
23:18他們卻一齊喊著說，除掉這個人，釋放巴拉巴給我們。
But they cried out all together, saying, Take this man away and release to us Barabbas.
23:19這巴拉巴是因在城裡作亂殺人下在監裡的。
He was one who, for a certain insurrection that occurred in the city and for murder, had been thrown into the prison.
23:20然而，彼拉多願意釋放耶穌，就再對他們聲明；
But Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again;
23:21無奈他們一直喊著說，釘祂十字架！釘祂十字架！
But they continued to shout, saying, Crucify, crucify Him!
23:22彼拉多第三次對他們說，為什麼？這人作了什麼惡事？我並沒有查出祂有什麼該定死罪的，所以我要責打祂，把祂釋放了。
But he said to them a third time, Why, what evil has this man done? I have found no cause of death in Him; I will therefore discipline Him and release Him.
23:23但他們大聲催逼，求他把耶穌釘十字架，他們的聲音就得了勝。
But they pressed him with loud voices, asking that He be crucified, and their voices prevailed.
23:24彼拉多這才宣判，他們所要求的可以執行，
And Pilate gave sentence that their request be carried out,
23:25便把他們所求那因作亂殺人下在監裡的釋放了；卻把耶穌交出來，任憑他們的意思行。
And he released him who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, whom they asked for; but Jesus he delivered up to their will.
23:26他們把耶穌帶走的時候，有一個古利奈人西門，從鄉下來，他們就抓住他，把十字架擱在他身上，叫他在耶穌後面背著。
And as they led Him away, they laid hold of Simon, a certain Cyrenian, coming from the country, and they placed the cross upon him to carry it behind Jesus.
23:27有許多百姓及婦女跟隨耶穌，為祂捶胸哀號。
And a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting Him followed Him.
23:28耶穌轉身對她們說，耶路撒冷的女兒，不要為我哭，當為自己和自己的兒女哭。
But Jesus turned to them and said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over Me, but weep over yourselves and over your children.
23:29因為看哪，日子要到，人必說，不生育的，和未曾懷胎的，未曾乳養孩子的，有福了。
For behold, the days are coming in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs which have not borne, and the breasts which have not nourished.
23:30那時，人要對大山說，倒在我們身上；對小山說，遮蓋我們。
Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the hills, Cover us!
23:31這些事既行在滿有汁水的樹上，那枯乾的樹將會怎樣？
For if they do these things with the tree full of sap, what will happen with the one that is dry?
23:32又有兩個犯人，和耶穌一同帶去處死。
And two others also, who were criminals, were led with Him to be executed.
23:33他們到了一個地方，名叫髑髏地，就在那裡將耶穌釘了十字架，也釘了那兩個犯人，一個在右邊，一個在左邊。
And when they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left.
23:34當下耶穌說，父啊，赦免他們，因為他們所作的，他們不曉得。兵丁就拈鬮分祂的衣服。
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast lots.
23:35百姓站著觀看，官長也嗤笑著說，祂救了別人，祂若是神的基督，是那蒙揀選的，就讓祂救自己吧！
And the people stood by, looking on. And the rulers also sneered, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, the Chosen One!
23:36兵丁也戲弄祂，上前拿醋送給祂喝，說，
And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him and offering Him vinegar,
23:37你若是猶太人的王，可以救自己吧！
And saying, If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!
23:38在耶穌以上有一個牌子寫著：這是猶太人的王。
And there was also an inscription over Him: This Is The King Of The JEWS.
23:39懸掛著的犯人中，有一個褻瀆祂說，你不是基督麼？可以救自己和我們吧！
And one of the criminals who were hanged there blasphemed Him, saying, Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!
23:40但另一個應聲責備他說，你既是一樣受刑的，還不怕神麼？
But the other, answering, rebuked him and said, Do you not even fear God, since you are in the same judgment?
23:41我們受刑是應該的，因我們所受的，與我們所作的相稱，但這個人沒有作過一件不當的事。
And we justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for what we did, but this Man has done nothing amiss.
23:42就說，耶穌啊，你來進入你國的時候，求你記念我。
And he said, Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
23:43耶穌對他說，我實在告訴你，今日你要同我在樂園裡了。
And He said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.
23:44那時約到正午，遍地都黑暗了，直到午後三時，
And it was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour,
23:45日頭不發光，殿裡的幔子也從當中裂開。
The sun's light failing; and the veil of the temple was split down the middle.
23:46耶穌大聲喊著說，父啊，我將我的靈交在你手裡。說了這話，氣就斷了。
And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit. And saying this, He expired.
23:47百夫長看見所發生的事，就榮耀神說，這真是個義人。
Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this man was righteous.
23:48聚集觀看的群眾，看見所發生的事，都捶著胸回去了。
And all the crowds who came together at this spectacle, when they beheld the things that happened, returned, beating their breasts.
23:49還有一切與耶穌熟識的人，和從加利利跟著祂來的婦女們，都遠遠的站著，看這些事。
And all those who knew Him, and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, observing these things.
23:50看哪，有一個人名叫約瑟，是個議士，為人善良公義；
And behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, and a good and righteous man
23:51眾人所謀所為，這人並沒有附和；他本是猶太亞利馬太城裡，素來盼望神國的人。
(This man had not consented to their counsel and action), from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was expecting the kingdom of God.
23:52這人到彼拉多跟前來，求耶穌的身體，
This man came to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
23:53就取下來用細麻布裹好，安放在石頭鑿成的墳墓裡，那裡從來沒有葬過人。
And he took it down and wrapped it in a fine linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb hewn in the rock, where no one had ever lain.
23:54那日是預備日，安息日也快到了。
And it was the day of preparation, and the Sabbath was coming on.
23:55那些從加利利和耶穌同來的婦女，跟在後面，看見了墳墓和祂的身體怎樣安放，
And the women who had come together with Him out of Galilee followed after and beheld the tomb and how His body was laid.
23:56就回去，預備了香料和香膏。她們在安息日，便遵著誡命安息了。
And they returned and prepared spices and ointment. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
