馬太福音-Matthew 第 1 章

1:1	耶穌基督，大衛的子孫，亞伯拉罕子孫的家譜： The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham:
1:2	亞伯拉罕生以撒，以撒生雅各，雅各生猶大和他的弟兄們， Abraham begot Isaac, and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers,
1:3	猶大從他瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉，法勒斯生希斯侖，希斯侖生亞蘭， And Judah begot Pharez and Zarah of Tamar, and Pharez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Aram,
1:4	亞蘭生亞米拿達，亞米拿達生拿順，拿順生撒門， And Aram begot Aminadab, and Aminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon,
1:5	撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯，波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得，俄備得生耶西， And Salmon begot Boaz of Rahab, and Boaz begot Obed of Ruth, and Obed begot Jesse,
1:6	耶西生大衛王。大衛從作過烏利亞妻子的生所羅門， And Jesse begot David the king. And David begot Solomon of her who had been the wife of Uriah,
1:7	所羅門生羅波安，羅波安生亞比雅，亞比雅生亞撒， And Solomon begot Rehoboam, and Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa,
1:8	亞撒生約沙法，約沙法生約蘭，約蘭生烏西亞， And Asa begot Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah,
1:9	烏西亞生約坦，約坦生亞哈斯，亞哈斯生希西家， And Uzziah begot Jotham, and Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah,
1:10	希西家生瑪拿西，瑪拿西生亞們，亞們生約西亞。 And Hezekiah begot Manasseh, and Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah.
1:11	在遷徙巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄們。 And Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon.
1:12	遷徙到巴比倫以後，耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵，撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯， And after the deportation to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Salathiel, and Salathiel begot Zerubbabel,
1:13	所羅巴伯生亞比玉，亞比玉生以利亞敬，以利亞敬生亞所， And Zerubbabel begot Abiud, and Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor,
1:14	亞所生撒督，撒督生亞金，亞金生以律， And Azor begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud,
1:15	以律生以利亞撒，以利亞撒生馬但，馬但生雅各， And Eliud begot Eleazar, and Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob,
1:16	雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫，那稱為基督的耶穌，是從馬利亞生的。 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
1:17	這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衛，共十四代；從大衛到遷徙巴比倫，也是十四代；從遷徙巴比倫到基督，又是十四代。 Thus all the generations from Abraham until David are fourteen generations, and from David until the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ, fourteen generations.
1:18	耶穌基督的由來，乃是這樣：祂母親馬利亞已經許配了約瑟，他們還沒有同居，馬利亞就被看出懷了孕，就是她從聖靈所懷的。 Now the origin of Jesus Christ was in this way: His mother, Mary, after she had been engaged to Joseph, before they came together, was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit.
1:19	她丈夫約瑟是個義人，不願明明的羞辱她，想要暗暗的把她退了。 And Joseph her husband, being righteous and not willing to disgrace her openly, intended to send her away secretly.
1:20	正思念這事的時候，看哪，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說，大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕，只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因那生在她裡面的，乃是出於聖靈。 But while he pondered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife, for that which has been begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit.
1:21	她將要生一個兒子，你要給祂起名叫耶穌，因祂要親自將祂的百姓從他們的罪裡救出來。 And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins.
1:22	這一切成就了，為要應驗主藉著申言者所說的，說， Now all this has happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,
1:23	「看哪，必有童女懷孕生子，人要稱祂的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利翻出來，就是神與我們同在。） "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel'' (which is translated, God with us).
1:24	約瑟從睡中醒來，就遵著主使者的吩咐，把他的妻子娶過來， And when Joseph awoke from his sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to himself his wife.
1:25	只是沒有和她同房，等她生了兒子，就給祂起名叫耶穌。 And he did not know her until she bore a son. And he called His name Jesus.
