| 馬太福音-Matthew 第 25 章 |
| 25:1 | 那時，諸天的國好比十個童女，拿著她們的燈，出去迎接新郎。 At that time the kingdom of the heavens will be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| 25:2 | 其中五個是愚拙的，五個是精明的。 And five of them were foolish and five were prudent. |
| 25:3 | 愚拙的拿著她們的燈，卻沒有帶著油； For the foolish, when they took their lamps, did not take oil with them; |
| 25:4 | 但精明的拿著她們的燈，又在器皿裡帶著油。 But the prudent took oil in their vessels with their lamps. |
| 25:5 | 新郎遲延的時候，她們都打盹睡著了。 And while the bridegroom delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. |
| 25:6 | 半夜有人喊叫：看哪，新郎來了，你們出來迎接他。 But at midnight there was a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Go forth to meet him! |
| 25:7 | 那些童女就都起來，整理她們的燈。 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their own lamps. |
| 25:8 | 愚拙的對精明的說，請分點油給我們，因為我們的燈要滅了。 And the foolish said to the prudent, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. |
| 25:9 | 精明的回答說，恐怕不夠我們和你們用的，不如你們到賣油的那裡，為自己買吧。 But the prudent answered, saying, Perhaps there will not be enough for us and for you; go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| 25:10 | 不料，她們去買的時候，新郎到了；那預備好的，同他進去赴婚筵，門就關了。 And as they were going away to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast. And the door was shut. |
| 25:11 | 其餘的童女隨後也來了，說，主啊，主啊，給我們開門。 And later the rest of the virgins came also, saying, Lord, lord, open to us! |
| 25:12 | 他卻回答說，我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。 But he answered and said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. |
| 25:13 | 所以你們要儆醒，因為那日子、那時辰，你們不知道。 Watch therefore, for you do not know the day nor the hour. |
| 25:14 | 諸天的國又好比一個人要往外國去，就叫了自己的奴僕來，把他的家業交給他們， For the kingdom of the heavens is just like a man about to go abroad, who called his own slaves and delivered to them his possessions. |
| 25:15 | 按照各人的才幹，個別的給了一個五他連得銀子，一個二他連得，一個一他連得，就往外國去了。 To one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability. And he went abroad. |
| 25:16 | 那領五他連得的，隨即拿去作買賣，另外賺了五他連得。 Immediately he who had received the five talents went and traded with them and gained another five. |
| 25:17 | 那領二他連得的，也照樣另賺了二他連得。 Similarly, he who had received the two gained another two. |
| 25:18 | 但那領一他連得的，去掘開地，把他主人的銀子埋藏了。 But he who had received the one went off and dug in the earth and hid his master's money. |
| 25:19 | 過了許久，那些奴僕的主人竟然來和他們算賬。 Now after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them. |
| 25:20 | 那領五他連得的，帶著另外的五他連得進前來，說，主啊，你交給我五他連得；請看，我另賺了五他連得。 And he who had received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, Master, you delivered to me five talents; behold, I have gained another five talents. |
| 25:21 | 主人對他說，好，良善又忠信的奴僕，你在不多的事上既是忠信的，我要把許多事派你管理；進來享受你主人的快樂。 His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master. |
| 25:22 | 那領二他連得的也進前來，說，主啊，你交給我二他連得；請看，我另賺了二他連得。 And he who had received the two talents also came and said, Master, you delivered to me two talents; behold, I have gained another two talents. |
| 25:23 | 主人對他說，好，良善又忠信的奴僕，你在不多的事上既是忠信的，我要把許多事派你管理；進來享受你主人的快樂。 His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things; I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master. |
| 25:24 | 隨後那領一他連得的，也進前來，說，主啊，我知道你是忍心的人，沒有撒種的地方要收割，沒有簸散的地方要收聚； Then he who had received the one talent also came and said, Master, I knew about you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not winnow. |
| 25:25 | 我就害怕，去把你的一他連得埋藏在地裡；請看，你仍有你所有的。 And I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the earth; behold, you have what is yours. |
| 25:26 | 主人就回答他說，又惡又懶的奴僕，你既知道我沒有撒種的地方要收割，沒有簸散的地方要收聚， And his master answered and said to him, Evil and slothful slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I did not winnow. |
| 25:27 | 就當把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。 Therefore you should have deposited my money with the money changers; and when I came, I would have recovered what is mine with interest. |
| 25:28 | 從他奪過這他連得來，給那有十他連得的。 Take away therefore the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. |
| 25:29 | 因為凡有的，還要給他，他就充盈有餘；沒有的，連他所有的，也要從他奪去。 For to every one who has, more shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him who does not have, even that which he has shall be taken away from him. |
| 25:30 | 把這無用的奴僕，扔在外面黑暗裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。 And cast out the useless slave into the outer darkness. In that place there will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. |
| 25:31 | 但是，當人子在祂的榮耀裡，所有的天使同著祂來的時候，祂要坐在祂榮耀的寶座上； But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the angels with Him, at that time He will sit on the throne of His glory. |
| 25:32 | 萬民都要聚集在祂面前，祂要把他們彼此分開，好像牧人把綿羊從山羊分開一樣； And all the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. |
| 25:33 | 綿羊安置在祂右邊，山羊在左邊。 And He will set the sheep on His right hand and the goats on the left. |
| 25:34 | 於是王要對那在祂右邊的說，你們這蒙我父賜福的，來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國。 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. |
| 25:35 | 因為我餓了，你們給我吃；我渴了，你們給我喝；我作客旅，你們留我住； For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me a drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in, |
| 25:36 | 我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裡，你們來看我。 Naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. |
| 25:37 | 那時義人要回答祂說，主啊，我們什麼時候見你餓了給你吃，或是渴了給你喝？ Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when have we seen You hungry and have fed You, or thirsty and have given You a drink? |
| 25:38 | 什麼時候見你作客旅留你住，或是赤身露體給你穿？ And when have we seen You a stranger and have taken You in, or naked and have clothed You? |
| 25:39 | 又什麼時候見你病了，或是在監裡，來看你？ And when have we seen You sick or in prison and have come to You? |
| 25:40 | 王要回答他們說，我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既作在我這些弟兄中最小的一個身上，就是作在我身上。 And the King will answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you have done it to Me. |
| 25:41 | 然後祂又要對那左邊的說，你們這被咒詛的，離開我，進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裡去。 Then He will say also to those on the left, Go away from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. |
| 25:42 | 因為我餓了，你們沒有給我吃；我渴了，你們沒有給我喝； For I was hungry and you did not give Me anything to eat; I was thirsty and you did not give Me a drink; |
| 25:43 | 我作客旅，你們沒有留我住；我赤身露體，你們沒有給我穿；我病了，我在監裡，你們沒有看顧我。 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; sick and in prison, and you did not visit Me. |
| 25:44 | 那時他們也要回答說，主啊，我們什麼時候見你餓了，或渴了，或作客旅，或赤身露體，或病了，或在監裡，沒有服事你？ Then they also will answer, saying, Lord, when have we seen You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to You? |
| 25:45 | 王要回答他們說，我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既沒有作在我這些弟兄中最小的一個身上，就是沒有作在我身上。 Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, neither have you done it to Me. |
| 25:46 | 這些人要往永遠的刑罰裡去，那些義人卻要往永遠的生命裡去。 And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. |
