| 27:1 | 大衛心裡說，如今看來，必有一日我死在掃羅手裡。我最好逃奔到非利士人的地去；掃羅就必絕望，不再在以色列的四境內尋索我。這樣，我便可以脫離他的手。 And David said in his heart, I will now one day perish at the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than to escape into the land of the Philistines; then Saul will despair of seeking me any longer within all the territory of Israel. Thus I will escape from his hand. |
| 27:2 | 於是大衛起身，和跟隨他的六百人，過到迦特王瑪俄的兒子亞吉那裡去。 So David rose up and crossed over, he and the six hundred men who were with him, to Achish the son of Maoch, the king of Gath. |
| 27:3 | 大衛和跟隨他的人，各人帶著眷屬，都住在迦特的亞吉那裡；大衛和他的兩個妻子，就是耶斯列人亞希暖，和作過拿八妻子的迦密人亞比該，都住在那裡。 And David and his men remained with Achish in Gath, he and his men, each man with his household: David and his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelite and Abigail the wife of Nabal, the Carmelite. |
| 27:4 | 有人告訴掃羅說，大衛逃到迦特；掃羅就不再尋索他了。 And it was told Saul that David had fled to Gath, so he no longer sought him. |
| 27:5 | 大衛對亞吉說，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在鄉間的一個城邑中賜我地方，我好居住在那裡。僕人何必與王同住王城呢？ And David said to Achish, If now I have found favor in your sight, let me be given a place in one of the country towns; and I will dwell there. For why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you? |
| 27:6 | 當日亞吉將洗革拉賜給他；因此洗革拉屬猶大王，直到今日。 So Achish gave him Ziklag that day; therefore Ziklag belongs to the kings of Judah to this day. |
| 27:7 | 大衛住在非利士人鄉間的日子，共有一年零四個月。 And the length of time that David remained in the country of the Philistines was a year and four months. |
| 27:8 | 大衛和跟隨他的人上去，侵奪基述人、基色人、和亞瑪力人；這幾族歷來所住的地，遠及書珥，直到埃及地。 Now David and his men went up and attacked the Geshurites and the Girzites and the Amalekites, for they were the inhabitants of the land from of old, as you go to Shur and unto the land of Egypt. |
| 27:9 | 大衛擊殺那地的人，無論男女都沒有留下一個存活的，又奪獲羊、牛、驢、駱駝並衣服，回來見亞吉。 And David struck the land; and he left neither man nor woman alive but took the sheep and the oxen and the asses and the camels and the clothing. Then he returned and came to Achish. |
| 27:10 | 亞吉說，你們今日侵奪了誰呢？大衛說，侵奪了猶大的南方、耶拉篾人的南方、基尼人的南方。 Then Achish said, Against whom have you conducted an attack today? And David said, Against the south of Judah and against the south of the Jerahmeelites and against the south of the Kenites. |
| 27:11 | 無論男女，大衛沒有留下一個存活的帶到迦特來；他心裡說，恐怕他們將我們的事告訴人，說，大衛行了這樣的事。大衛住在非利士人鄉間的時候，他慣常這樣行。 Now David left neither man nor woman alive to be brought to Gath, for he said, Perhaps they will tell of us, saying, Thus did David do. And such was his custom as long as he dwelt in the country of the Philistines. |
| 27:12 | 亞吉信了大衛，心裡說，大衛已在本族以色列人中有了臭名，所以他必永遠作我的僕人了。 And Achish trusted David, saying, He has made himself utterly odious to his people Israel; therefore he shall be my servant forever. |
